Editing PDF Metadata

Every PDF has hidden info called metadata - title, author, creation date, keywords, subject, sometimes what software made it. Not visible on pages but embedded in the file. This lets you view and change all that.

Metadata Categories

Info organized into groups:

Viewing Current Data

Add your own beyond standard metadata:

  • Specify name, type (text, number, date, boolean), value
  • Gets embedded and searchable
