Merging PDFs
Need to combine multiple PDF files into one? This merges them with full control over order. Upload as many as you want, see thumbnail previews of every page, drag to reorder files or individual pages, rotate pages, delete unwanted pages, keep bookmarks and links. Good for combining chapters, merging scanned pages, assembling reports, organizing contracts.

Upload PDFs
- Click "Add PDFs". Select multiple (Ctrl or Cmd).
- Or drag and drop.
- No limit on how many.
- Each uploads instantly, generates thumbnails for all pages.
- Can add more anytime.
- Shows filename, page count, size.
- Files color-coded to distinguish them visually.
Arrange Files
- Files appear in upload order but you can change:
- Drag grip icon to move entire file to new position.
- "Reverse" button flips order of all files.
- Sort dropdown: by name, size, pages, date.
- File order determines page sequence in merged PDF.
Review Pages
- Click expand arrow on any file to see all its pages as thumbnails.
- Page numbers shown on each.
- View modes: Compact (minimal), Detailed (default), Grid (large thumbnails).
- Adjust thumbnail size with zoom controls.
- Can drag individual pages within file or between files.
- Top toolbar shows total files, total pages, combined size.
Edit Pages
- Hover pages for quick actions:
- Rotate: Turn 90° clockwise. Click multiple times.
- Duplicate: Create copy. Appears after original.
- Preview: See full-size.
- Delete: Remove from merge.
- Rotate all pages in file at once with header button.
- Delete entire file with header button.
Batch Operations
- Use checkboxes to select multiple:
- Select files or individual pages.
- "Select All Pages" for everything.
- "Delete Selected" removes multiple at once.
- "Extract to New File" copies selected pages to new document entry.
- Toolbar shows selection count.
Settings
- Right sidebar has merge settings:
- Output filename: Name for merged PDF.
- Preserve: Bookmarks, hyperlinks, form fields.
- Add: Page numbers, table of contents.
- Optimization: Remove blank pages, optimize file size.
- Compression: None, Low, Medium (recommended), High.
- Summary section shows total files, pages, size, estimated output.
Merge
- Click "Merge PDFs" at bottom.
- "Merging..." message with spinner.
- Process: loads files, extracts pages in order, applies rotations, copies to new doc, preserves features, adds page numbers/TOC, applies compression.
- Downloads automatically with your filename.
- Pages in exact arranged order with all transformations.

Tips:
- Upload in logical order to minimize reordering.
- Check orientation and rotate before merging.

- Medium compression is good balance.

- Use descriptive output filename.
